The most important international security trade fair in Chile has already begun preparations for its new 2022 version. SeguridadExpo will bring together in one place the national and international security industry, consolidating itself as the meeting point to analyze the challenges and advances in the field. The fair and international congress will be held between October 25 and 27 this year at the new Parque FISA fairgrounds located on Route 68, Km. 16 Pudahuel, Chile. The exhibition will feature a wide range of technological solutions for the sector and innovations aimed at developing the security-related market. The international fair will cover 8 thousand square meters of exhibition space, and more than 90 exhibiting companies representing 25 countries, including Brazil, the United States, China, Switzerland, Spain, Germany and Australia, are expected to participate. More than 5,000 professional visitors are expected to attend the three-day exhibition. SeguridadExpo, now in its sixth version, will provide a privileged space for commercial exchange, the introduction of new technologies and the improvement of productivity in the execution and operation of projects related to defense and security. The event also seeks to reaffirm the important role of security in Chile, to showcase local development in goods, products and services oriented to the industry; to exchange experiences, technologies and international developments with the national industry; to introduce new technologies not available in the country to the market, and to provide effective solutions to the police, the Armed Forces and civilians. Fisa’s general manager, Francisco Sotomayor, emphasized that “the fair and international congress will be a key point for addressing the country’s main security challenges and the solutions proposed by public institutions and the private sector. We look forward to delivering a varied exhibition, where the great exponents will present the development achieved to date and the solutions to various security problems that arise today, both in the country and abroad”. In this new version, the exhibition will be divided into 3 halls: -Industrial Safety, Occupational Health and Biosafety: It will be focused on the main technologies and solutions for the prevention of risks at work in terms of safety, occupational hygiene and personal protection, and will have a strong emphasis on biosafety, where you will find the latest trends on how to deal with safety at work today as a result of the experience of the Covid- 19 sanitary crisis facing Chile and the world. -Fire Control and Natural Disasters: There will be exhibitors with technologies and equipment for emergency situations, rescue, prevention and risk reduction in the face of threats caused by fire and natural disasters. -Private, Public and Cybersecurity: A variety of cutting-edge technological innovations will be presented, as well as products related to cybersecurity. In its 2019 version, companies participated with equipment and services such as communication and tracking systems; prevention, alarm display, armor, detectors, and vehicles such as aircraft, helicopters, boats, police vehicles, land and unmanned vehicles were exhibited. Hybrid mode: The new version of the exhibition will again be in hybrid format, i.e., face-to-face and virtual. The digital edition will feature the SeguridadExpo Connect platform, where equipment, innovations and technologies will be exhibited, in addition to allowing connections with professionals, decision makers and leading companies in the industry. Through the virtual modality, people will be able to connect from anywhere with a mobile device to webinars, technical talks and workshops, in addition to the Marketplace that will allow exhibitors to present related products and services, with quick and advanced search filter for easy navigation.
