Santiago, November 11, 2023. The world of security in its multiple dimensions experienced three unforgettable days. SeguridadExpo ended with a positive balance, the presence of more than 3,500 attendees, an international congress that addressed the main topics of the industry and general satisfaction with the consolidation of the leading comprehensive trade fair for convergent security in Chile.

The event was held at the Metropolitan Santiago Convention Center from November 7 to 9, and was attended by a massive public during its three days, attracted by the extensive list of novelties that the exhibition provided and the axes that were raised around the meeting: to highlight the strategic role of security in Chile; to convene the main players in the industry, and to deliver solutions, innovations and strategies to address emerging threats in the midst of a context that has the public particularly involved.
“We recognize that the security environment is constantly changing, and at the show we explore the most up-to-date solutions and strategies to address emerging threats and security challenges. That is why the presence of a large number of companies allowed us a diversity of exhibits and opportunities for attendees to explore the latest innovations and solutions,” said Rodrigo Lobo, deputy general manager of Fisa, who confirmed that a new version of SeguridadExpo will be held next year from October 8 to 10, 2024.

Thus, with the participation of nearly 120 brands representing more than 25 countries, the technological aspect and its integration to improve overall performance mobilized a significant number of security experts, decision makers and senior executives, in the midst of an instance in which the industry itself exhibited its potential.

“We are happy with the positive results and I think the exhibitors were also very pleased. It was a space for a lot of interaction and dialogue between industry players,” summarized the manager of the fair, Rodrigo Bastidas.

The exhibitors also had an ideal space to showcase their latest technologies in areas such as access control, alarms, monitoring and video surveillance, while also addressing risk management and emergencies. This aspect, moreover, attracted a variety of authorities such as service directors, uniformed personnel and parliamentarians who were enthusiastic about the varied offerings on display. There was also space to learn about emerging trends in drones and robotics, cybersecurity, occupational safety, road safety, smart cities and much more.

“It has been a great experience. The fair was a success and the visibility was very useful for us. We were happy because many business possibilities opened up for us. The press coverage we had also benefited us,” said Francisco del Campo, founder of Smart Partners.

“I think I speak for most of the exhibitors and it is clear to me that it was a great experience to participate. We interacted in an ideal ecosystem to generate synergies and we were able to exhibit our solutions in an ideal context”, said Cristián Martínez, operations manager of Grupo Belator.

In addition, and during the meeting, an international congress was held that addressed the main current issues and trends related to public and private security. The event included different activities such as talks, business meetings with municipalities, technical conferences and special events, among others.
