According to the VI Retail Shrinkage Study conducted by the Business School of the Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez in 13 companies in Chile, it was found that the economic valuation of the operating loss in that period is 253 million dollars, which shows a significantly higher increase than the 177 million dollars of the previous period. This indicator revealed an upward trend in the evolution of the percentage of shrinkage since 2021, reaching 1.43% last year.
